Self-Esteem and Strategies to Increase The Student English Achievement

In this study, students in the state's senior high school number two Musi Rawas' eleventh grade were asked about their self-esteem and strategies for improving English proficiency. 64 selected as sample study using cluster random selection. The correlational research design was used study. Data gathered via questionnaires written records. They examined Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient multiple regression analysis.The result showed that sig. value of correlation between achievement 0.000 < 0.05, so H01 rejected with 18.7% contribution self-esteem. language learning H02 also 21.8% strategies. change among self-esteem, strategies, automatically H03 24,3% contributions
